Youthful indie Brit, Andy Mayo gently and skillfully nurtures and interweaves his deep love-of-music and The Gospel in this contemporary fusion of light-jazz and country-blues sounds behind his ballads and inspirational ditties.
With a quality in his voice and repertoire that is unique and yet akin to the best of the genre, there is also an out-of-the-ordinary, lingering excellence in his engaging repertoire of memorable songs.
The result is a winning mix. He retains a highly motivated missionary cause in line with his earlier CD release entitled ‘Dreams of a Homecoming’ that plotted his humanitarian work in modern Yugoslavia. |
